Bolt Action Tournament @ Draxtar Games 5/30/2015

Hey everyone,
Your local Warlord Sarge here telling you we are throwing another tournament at Draxtar Games in Batavia.

As per usual, it will be a 1000 point standard infantry platoon (generic reinforced). The date will be Saturday May 30th.

Event special rules are:
No vehicle mounted flame throwers
Your platoon comander can be of any veterancy BUT will only give their leadership buffs to units of equal or lesser rating.(for example, a regular 1st Lt. would not give a 2 point buff to a veteran infantry squad).

Sign in will be at 12p.m. and tables will be assigned at 1. Rounds will last 2.5 hours and there will be a lunch break between games 1 and 2. 3 games will be played. Painting and sportsmanship will be factored into final scores. If you're planning to attend, please let email me (chris@mercenaryminiatures.com) and let me know. So far I have:

If I'm not busy, I'm going to bring Germans along. Something that we might think about in the future since apparently some of the Bolt Action events at Adepticon next year are probably using the boltaction.net season 2 rules tweaks with Warlord Games blessing, we might want to take a look at the rules there. I have the pdf downloaded at this point, there aren't that many tweaks.

that is not true, it was merely under consideration and being used to judge national and local trends. The season 2 changes they put out convinced us to avoid adopting that format.

We will be continuing to use our house rules and format from past Adepticon and Operation Sting events. Also reflected in the above format at Draxstar
