Bought a couple of the Wyvern gun bits from ebay, that I have used to convert my FW Hydras. Since I pinned the Hydra guns to the FW Hydra turret it was an easy turn around to pin the Wyvern gun in place. Though it cost an average of $20 for each set of the Wyvern gun bits. I guess it is a bit cost effective, since I didn't want to buy a couple of the new GW Wyvern/Hydra kits. And it made for a quicker paint job rather than assembling/painting 2 whole new kits. Well here are the results:



I can swap out the guns to field either Hydras or Wyverns. I've got another FW Hydra kit to assemble, and have another Wyvern gun bits on its way. Will eventually get this kit done, when I have time between all the other projects I have lined up.

Had some time in between commission projects, so went back to update some of my Tallarn Armor.

First, got a Punisher Gun bits from Bartertown. Cut off the Battle Cannon and replaced with the Punisher Gun bit. Used the Battle Cannon to extend another Battle Cannon to make into a Vanquisher Cannon. Next converted an old metal Autocannon bit to fit into a Forge World turret. Then popped off the Hull and Sponsons off 2 old Leman Russ chasis and replaced with the newer swappable Hull and Sponson bits. Assembled a 6th Leman Russ, but waiting on more of the newer swappable Hull and Sponson bits.

In total have 5 Leman Russ completed, a 6th awaiting parts:

Demolisher (FW Hull) w Hull Heavy Bolter
Punisher (FW Hull) w Hull and Sponsons Heavy Bolters
Executioner (FW Hull) w Hull Heavy Bolter and Plasmacannon Sponsons
2x Exterminators w swappable Hull and Sponson weapon bits
Vanquisher w swappable Hull and Sponson weapon bits (awaiting parts to complete)

All with FW turrets.

2 Medusas (the Gun platform comes off, eventually I will build a couple Basilisk Gun platforms that I can swap in)

Finally started working on my Adpeta Sororitas Army. I've had the models for Years now, but never had the time or need to start the army. Now with their new eCodex and the advent of the new 7th edition rules with Allies, I think the Sororitas can lend their hands in fighting the enemies of the Emperor.

Started with cleaning/prepping 50 metal models and 9 Vehicles.





Got the first 8 models done, which includes Uriah, a Canoness, 2 Sister Superiors and 4 Meltaguns. Next on the bench are 7 Sisters w Bolters. I'd like to paint around 7-10 models in assembly line fashion. So far it took me 2 Days, about 10 hours, to get the 8 models done. It took longer as I was trying out some colors for each specific part of the models. Got the colors down, now time to start getting these girls done as quickly as possible.

Finished painting 7 Battle Sisters w Bolters. I cut down my painting time to about 4 hours to get 7 Sisters painted.






Took another pic of the Canoness and 2 Superiors, just got a new camera so been playing around with the settings to get better pictures.




For now, the 15 Adepta Sororitas models will do. Have other projects to work on.
