Started the new Year slowly with my painting projects. Started out cleaning and building over 150+ models. And have built and painted 161 bases.

Here are the first few models I have painted this Year:

Finished painting 3 Vendettas for my Elysian Army.


Painted 12 Kasrkin models that I will be using as Accolytes w Assault Weapons for my Grey Knight Army.



Have another 63 models and 13 Vehicles to paint for the GK Army. Hope to get most of these done for the next Draxtar Tournament. Would like to field a different Army Each Month.

Having the Draxtar and AWC Tournaments helps get me motivated in painting my collection of miniatures.

I was going to bring the Dwarves to the Adepticon WFB Championship, but they still can't cut it against the top tier Armies in WFB. So will be taking the Demons to both the 40K and WFB Championship in Adepticon.

Had to build and paint a few models to make the Demons a little more competitive on the WFB side. First had some spare metal Nurglings that I used to build a Palanquin for my Nurgle Herald Battle Standard Bearer. I then needed to add a few Khorne Skullcannons. I didn't care much for the Harley Davidson looking GW Skullcannons, so bits ordered the Cannon from the kit and some bits from the Chariot kit. I had some spare metal Bloodcrushers, which all fell in place. Received the bits and built the Skullcannons on Wednesday. And here you have it today.









All set for Adepticon.

Also assembled 6 Rhinos/Razorbacks, 3 Dreadnaughts, 2 Land Raiders and a Stormraven. Still need to assemble 2 Chimeras and another Stormraven.

Painted more Tallarn Guardsmen. Painted their Turban a different color to represent Conscripts. And converted 4 more Sgts w Power Axe.

Commissar Yarrick has been recruited by the 116th Tallarn Regiment:



You can see in the background that I am finishing up on the first Platoon of the 23rd Elysian Regiment. I ran out of Tallarn Guardsmen to paint, and needed more Troops to add to my Astra Militarum Infantry Horde army. Plus it would make it easier to tell apart the Infantry Blob Squads from each other on the Tabletop Battlefield.
