Evil 600 point lists

Well not that school has officially ended and we are on summer break here in Florida, I have finally had time to think up some 600 pt forces. First one is a mordor list I took to the last local tournament.

List 1
Shagrat War leader
6x Morannon Orc w/ shield
6x Orc w/spear

Gorbag
6x Morannon Orc w/ shield
6x Orc w/spear

Morannon Orc Captain w/ shield
5x Morannon Orc w/ shield
1x Morannon Orc w/ shield, spear

7x Orc tracker w/ warg

Next one is another mordor force that should do ok, but is a little low on numbers

List 2
Dark Marshall w/ fell beast
6x Black Numenorean
6x Orcs w/ spear

Orc Captain w/ warg, shield
12 Trackers w/ warg

Last one is a Moria list using shamans to give an essentially army wide 5+ ward save if fury goes off.

Has a mean looking front line, though the heroes are only semi decent. The last list should have staying power via 5+ fury.

I played against Goblin with that 5plus save and it was a pain in the butt. I was amazed how many 5 up saves he made. I think you could do well with that list.

Agreed. I still beat the goblins, but it was a very tough fight.

I figured it would be a pain to fight against. Hopefully will get some play testing in at some point.

In lieu of the fury saves, this list focuses on combat more with the shade and blackshield captain. This should allow the front line to win more combats and allow the heroes to win more often and therefore kill more.

The 5+ fate is amazing along with high number count. I run Prowlers over Blackshields, but 5+ on D6 models would be sick. Besides inflating numbers by limiting casualties, it's more likely to halt assassination tactics that rely on heroic combats or killing crucial models. Poor Guardian found out when his Gimli heroic combated against one goblin, and I made both fury saves! Warg Marauders become even more tough when backed by the fate.

Depends. You will be trading Might for a repetition of what you already have. I prefer a couple of shamans and the rest captains.

I think 3 is overkill. I use 2 and have had no problems covering my entire army so far. I prefer Gundabad Shamans over captains, however.

Looking at it, I think I'll probably end up switching one of the shamans to a blackshield captain to add a little extra combat power and might point.

More heroes so you actually have the heroes to lead your warbands

With the models you have here, you will need 2-3 goblin heroes.

5 Goblins w/shields/ 6 Goblins w/spear:55 pts

Warband 4
Orc Captain w/2-handed axe:45 pts
Goblin Captain:35 pts
2 Goblins w/shield, 3 Orcs w/spear, 2 Orcs w/2 handed weapon, Cave Troll:126
