New Site, Styles and The Future...

Postby Matthias » Mon Feb 06, 2012 6:02 pm

OK - everything should be good to go at this point.

All old topics, permissions and links and been moved.

There are currently to simple styles/skins you can apply to the forum. The default one is titled Bl@ck and is most likely what you are seeing now. You can switch the style to proBlack in your User Control Panel under Board Preferences --> Edit Global Settings --> My Board Style. This will make the site look somewhat similar to the old forums.

The current styles/skins are just temporary. I will work out something better down the road (and hopefully offer 3-4 different styles to choose from). I will also look into integrating some MODs (PM text in email notification) possibly integrate the Gallery. If you have any feature requests, let me know and I will see what I can do.

3.0.X also also you to easily add custom profile fields. Any suggestions for useful fields to make the profiles more useful?

I noticed an inconsistency while posting earlier.

The buttons that apply certain tags typically create both an open and a close tag. For example, if I click the B button, I get both a [ b] and a [ /b]. If I select text and click the button, it's smart enough to put the [ b] at the front of the selection and the [ /b] at the end of the selection.

This appears to be true for all the buttons except the [ *] button, which only creates the open tag.
