Dwarf Rangers and thir Bows

Okay,

Interesting question, we all know that Dwarf Bows are 18" Str 3. Well what is the strength of the Dwarf Long Bow for rangers? It only states that it counts as bow (24" range) but is the strength still 3 or is it strength 2?

I have never really thought about it and I assumed that it would be strength 3 with a 24" range.

Any thoughts??

THey are Strength 2. That is the way I always played them, believe me I wish they were strength 3.

Yep, strength 2. They count as a "bow" which is the standard Str 2 bows. Dwarf bows, Elf bows, and Orc bows are all classified differently.

Okay that makes sense, so all they get is the 24" range.

Like everyone says they are treated as bows. Range: 24", strength: 2. 10 point, defense 5, 3+ to hit archers with strength 3 elf bows were hideously abusive. The FAQ also answered this question.
