"Vraks: Turmoil and Disintegration".
"Scarus Sector 841826.M41: During the long siege on Vraks, there were many renegade battalions deployed away from the main battle line that sat waiting in their trenches for years at a time, staring out over their rifle sights at an empty quadrant. The long periods of stagnation and readiness, coupled with the corrosive effects of Chaos on the minds of corrupted troops lead eventually to jostling and political squabbles between renegade commanders. On more than one occasion open hostilities flared up between "allied" factions, the results of which could be quite bloody. This battle represents on such incident, where in a quiet sector one quiet morning all hell breaks loose as rival commanders set out to settle a score over territory and favor in the eyes of the Chaos Gods."

"This battle will take place on Friday 5pm-11pm, and is open to several more renegade guard players who would like to play. We'll use the Apocalypse Rules for 40k, 3,500 - 5,000 points per player, total points per side will be balanced at the table. This event is for Renegade Guard armies only (no loyalist Imperial Guard or other armies) using either IA:5, IA:6, IA:7 or Codex: Imperial Guard to build their list. This will be a low-key, army and terrain showcase type event, and we would welcome any Player with a Renegade Guard army who would like to join.

Please note that you must have a fully painted army to participate. Table and terrain will be provided by Blast Radius Terrain ( who are set up as a vendor at Adepticon 2010, and it will be a great chance to fight over some visually stunning terrain against like-minded Renegade Guard commanders. Please reply to petercarlson(at)hotmail(dot)com or PM me if you are interested in playing, or for more information."
