The WC will be donating some terrain, and hopefully a lot more next year. I just cut a couple more batches but I don't think it will be detailed in time. Not quite as cool this stuff but hopefully people will dig it. TLOS was something we were thinking about when we designed it.

Another day of work with great progress. 24 more tables are complete taking up nearly 11 feet by 12 feet of floor space.

We also are getting prep-ed the 91 flats of city fight terrain this week for a drybrush fest all weekend long at Capital City Games the weekend of March 14 and 15. Many hands make light work so the more the merrier.

Built 15 or so of these today for the Cityfight tables. I should ~24 primed and ready to go for next weekend.

I tried to take some pics of the Necron crystals but the photos weren't doing the color justice.

This weekwnd should be just a massive "Drybrush" fest. Pics of the completed "Green" tables were sent to Matt today should be up shortly. As Andrew pointed out with everything sat out it took up a 12 X 11 FT area. The work being done is amazing. Thanks needs to go out to Nathan Tumulty, Rhett Tudor, Ben Doerfler, James Logue, Mike Turner and of course my wife Cindy. I guess she figures if she really wants to see me she'll have to come in the store and do some paintin'. I think I'll go ahead and keep her. Sat. nite after Andrew left Dave, Adam and myself worked on Color selection for "City Fight" terrain, and Dave and Adam "Drybrushed" the first two highlights on "Necron" terrain. If all goes as planned the only thing left this comming weekend is final touches/drybrushing on "City Fight". See you all this weekend.

P.S. Yes Hank, I did feel tall standing next to all that terrain. :P :P :P :P

Another incredibly productive weekend at Capital City Games in Springfield finishing up the Necron themed tables and a good portion of the Cityfight stuff. A bunch of new photos were just added to the 40K Terrain Gallery.

We are finished.

Congratulations to everybody that helped out. It was a long , tedious process and to see it completed with time to spare is amazing. 12 Ice tables, 12 Necron tables, 24 Woodland tables, 24 City tables. The Necron terrain was completed last night, laid out and photographed before being put away. The final drybrush went on the last City building at about 2:00 this afternoon. We set everything up as usual and photographed all the pieces. Boxed it up and cleaned the store. I almost forgot how much room we actually have. All things considered it was an experience that we will not forget anytime soon. Many late nights and early mornings. Many discussions about things that may appear to be minor, but in the end were some of the most essential details. I can't thank enough many of the people who helped. I tried to mention everyone I could remember and if I left you out I am sorry. I will blame it on lack of sleep. Once again,

Thank You

I'd still put some $$$ on Dave pulling out those Necron elements and repainting the bases...

But really...I cannot stress this enough - fantastic job. The crew at Capital City went waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy beyond the call of duty and it will be incredibly obvious to anyone setting foot in that hall Friday morning.

19 days to spare!

The 40k terrain looks very impressive - kudos to all of the terrain team members who helped bring this massive project to life. That is going to be one nice looking wargaming hall come the 2nd of April!

AdeptiCon Council Member Found Dead
By Dave Creswell

The Tabletop News Network
Springfield, IL | Published: 03.16.2009

The AdeptiCon Council Member found dead inside a 28' long casino trailer this morning was identified as Hank Edley, a 4-year veteran of the Council, officials said.

Edley was once a member of Casus Belli, although he was forced to retire after revealing a painful and debilitating addiction to resin. His body was discovered coated in PVA glue and crushed walnut shells. Several oddly shaped toy cacti found nearby are most likely the cause of several small puncture wounds Mr. Edley received to his torso and abdomen.

Services will be held at Baltimore Games Day.
