Dark Angels "Bodies" list

I've been playing around with thinking of lists that can bring a ton of power armored bodies to the field. This list is more geared to NOVA which has a push towards things on foot since it rewards quarters in a lot of the missions. The bikes aren't scoring but are there to harrass, deny and put damage down. What are your thoughts? I'm half tempted to go with the crazy banner of devistation.

HQ: Librarian with bike, auspex, power field
Troop: 10 marines, plasmagun, multi-melta
Troop: 10 marines, plasmagun, multi-melta
Troop: 10 marines, plasmagun, multi-melta
Troop: 10 marines, plasmagun, multi-melta
Troop: 10 marines, plasmagun, las-cannon
Troop: 10 marines, plasmagun, plasma-cannon
Fast: 6 bikes, 2 melts-guns, 1 multi-melta attack bike
Fast: 6 bikes, 2 melts-guns, 1 multi-melta attack bike
Fast: 6 knights, 2 grenade launchers

Maybe switch out the knights for a banner of devestation knight squad?

Cheers,

came up with a variation that takes advantage of the banner. It will make it a big target, but the army doesn't have to have it working to still be effective. Had to drop one tactial squad down to a scout squad - but at least they'll still benefit from the banner.

HQ: Librarian with bike, auspex, power field
HQ: 5 Knight command squad, banner of devastation, apothecary
Troop: 10 marines, plasmagun, multi-melta
Troop: 10 marines, plasmagun, multi-melta
Troop: 10 marines, plasmagun, multi-melta
Troop: 10 marines, plasmagun, multi-melta
Troop: 10 marines, plasmagun, las-cannon
Troop: 10 scouts, bolters
Fast: 6 bikes, 2 melts-guns, 1 multi-melta attack bike
Fast: 6 bikes, 2 melts-guns, 1 multi-melta attack bike

Cheers,

Finally someone is giving the mean green list a try besides me.

Your banner will be wasted with the command squad. It only works for bolters. FYI

Crazy amount of speed which I like.

I would worry a little about how much long range you have. Although the bikes will move up pretty fast. That will be plenty of tank popping firepower.

Do you think your troops will be able to get across the board fast enough if they need to?

What do you have in mind for enemy flyers?

My first thought is couldn't you do this list with vanilla marines and have combat tactics and null zone? My next thought is its one thing to have bodies on the field and its another to be able to do damage to the enemy. I agree that NOVA missions play to the table quarters and more bodies are better, but I would like to see a little more damage output from your side.

I think you might like the Thundertalon list the NoVA guys brought to Adelticon. 3 Thunderfire cannons, 3 Stormtalons and then lots of bodies. They had two 50 man blob units with marine IC attachment, but you could go one blob and then marines on foot.

I like a lot of bodies on the table also, but that doer not mean you need to skimp on power. With Azrael and a banner of dev I can still manage 56 models with vehicles and a dev squad. Without vehicles and with an Aegis barricade I have 58. Not bad for space marines.
