Tank War Event @ Draxtar Games in Batavia 11/22/15

Hello again BA enthusiasts, it is me, your local Warlord Sarge coming in with the next event! Hope you all had fun if you attended Operation Sting or What-Con, and if not, here is your perfect opportunity to catch up.
For this event, well be playing out of the Tank War supplement. It will be 1500 points.
For those of you who Don't know how to make a tank war list *cough cough, Weekend General*here's how to do it.
Compulsory:
1 Command Vehicle with the 25 point Command Vehicle upgrade selected from the Tanks/Tank Destroyer/Self Propelled Artillery list.
2 Vehicles from the Tanks/Tank Destroyer/Self Propelled Artillary.
Optional:
0-2 Tanks/TDs/SPAs
0-2 Armored Cars/Recce Vehicles
0-2 Infantry selections (transport required)
0-2 Infantry Support (transport required)
0-2 Infantry HQ (transport required)

The Missions will be objective based and each mission will have bonus objectives. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. $10 gets you into the tournament ($5 to prize support and $5 to store credit). Sign in will open at 1 pm and tables will be called at 2pm. Each round will be 2 hours with a 30 minute lunch break between rounds 1 and 2.

I recall seeing a rule that Tank Riders do not need additional transports, the tanks act as their transports. However, I can't find it now. Is there such a rule? Did I just imagine it?

That is correct, since they arrive riding the tank, that counts as a transport.

I would suppose that the additional command units from the tank war supplement are ok for the event. (?)
Was wondering if German stug riders would be allowed since they were in the Ostfront supplement and not in Tank War.
I would assume that other units from the theatre books are off limits as in your other events (ie. Brandenburgers)

I'll allow Stug riders but usually I don't allow theater book units. As far as command units, only 1 command vehicle and 0-2 infantry HQ choices. And for ease of use, No named tank crews (ie Abrams Sherman). Look forward to seeing you out there!
