Warmaster Tournament 9/10

Postby Shaggrudd Dethblasta » Sat Jun 18, 2011 10:02 am

On September 10th, there will be yet another Warmaster tournament! As before, there will be new scenarioes that will make this a fun tournament to play in.

When: September 10th
Where: Chicago Battle Bunker
Size: 2000 pts
Cost: free!
Start time: noon
Length: 3 rounds

As before, each player will divide his army into three groups. The first two groups will consist of at least one character and 500 pts of forces, including characters, plus or minus 50 points. These two groups do not need to meet any army requirements, just the entire army as a whole. The last group will contain the rest of the army as well as the army general. Players will also be required to bring some sort of objective marker for use in some of the scenarios.

Constructive criticism of the scenarios is encouraged because we are play testing scenarios for the Warmaster tournament at Adepticon 2012. Any questions, please ask!

I'm in.

Still not sure whether to bring my Rat-things or Nasty Elf-things though.

Painted armies are preferred, but not required. I'd rather you come out to play.

Before the event,

One guy wants to do Chaos, the other Lizardmen.

At this point, I'm going to be looking to play A LOT of the armies so, over time all of them I guess.

O&G are at the top of my list obv. Followed by VC & Skaven

Don't forget some of your rank and file might be cheaper from Kallistra...

I'll probably be filling out parts of my rats from them.

That site has some awesome terrain!

The models don't seem superior though for the slight price difference.
Unless I'm missing something?

I will def buy some sweet castles and siege stuff from them though!

Thanks for the link. :D

Also, the shipping seems legit insane lol.

I'll have to put together an xbawks hueg order to be worth it!

Well 6GBP for 4 stands instead of $15 for three is aomething like a 40% savings. The models aren't as nice as some, though, it's true.

If you guys really want to play we could possibly loan some armies too. As long as I don't have to play the ringer, I have a chaos army based on the troll kingdoms.
