Seeing as I'm the other guy that saw them all last year, it's not fair to disclose all the army list. But I'll give you some insite.

Troops are important. Speed is important. Fire power is overrated. CC isn't. But with limited models, you can avoid damage by keeping away.

Games are played on a 4x4. Games go about an hour.

* Beware of the ringer army, it went a stagering 0-4 last year... in a 3 round tournement. Looking for revenge.

Is there a force org for this event? Can I take four fast attack choices for example, or eight killa kans as individual units?

If you want to hear a little more about combat patrol, 40K radio will be doing some features this weekend.

I think the two interviews are about combat patrol and gladiator.

Kevin,

I expect the combat patrol as with previous years will sell out. It is designed to be a smaller format and as such will be capped a reasonable level. I think currently we have a total of 50 slots available.

Prizes... at AdeptiCon? : )

Prizes were pretty good last year I got a battle foam case, a space marine vindicator and a few other odds and ends. Not bad for a smaller event.

Rumor has it the prize support has increased from last year as the number of players in CP has also, which is great.


Rumor two is there will be an additional special price for CP on Friday if it sells out.

Just saying... could be all rumors.

Twolf calvary is really expensive to kit out...and you still need a one troops choice. But someone is bound to attempt it.

Not trying to cheese here but in regards to wolf guard in the SW codex. According to the dex you have to have a minimum of 3 wolf guard before you can take any. I assume that is still the case for the Combat Patrol?

Just figured I would ask.

And yes it is not to difficult to fit T. Wolves into a list this small. Not sure how practical it is but it can be done. I may be testing that out here soon so I'll and tell you guys how it goes.

You still have to abide by your codex unit minimum and maximum unit size restriction. So yes, you'd have to have a minimum sized squad of 3 or more Wolf Guard in order to field that unit.

Yeah I figured but I wanted to be sure before I made some decisions. THis will be my first Adepticon and I think that of all of the events my brother and I are playing this one seems to be the one we are most excited about. Should be fun.

Can units that don't take up a FOC slot (such as chaos daemons) count as the one troop for the combat patrol?
