Terrain

I was wondering if terrain was going to be adjusted or added to accommodate the new 5th addition site line rules? So that unit can actual hide instead of everything being exposed.

40K terrain is being updated as fast as possible. That said, it may take 2-3 years to convert all 100+ 40K tables to the new terrain standards.

I will also point out we are looking for some help.

We got some creative ideas in the pipe but terrain building ultimately just comes down to some individuals or clubs digging in and creating some tables.

Terrain Days

Postby Inquisitor Thantos » Fri Oct 10, 2008 8:07 am

Is there going to have a terrain day, as in the past?
I'm sure the community can come together and pump out ooooooogles of 4+ cover giving, difficult terrain roll inducing terrain pieces.

While I can admire your optimism, terrain days have historically been poorly attended. The meet ups at the bunker always left Dave and Ken working with 1-2 volunteers - not what I'd call a strong community response.

This year, terrain will be more of a distributed effort. If you'd like to either contribute your own collection of terrain or work towards improving Adepticon's collection of LOS blocking terrain - PM/Email me or Muwhe (Hank) and we can get you connected.
