Warmachine slotted bases

I recently started playing Wwarmahcine and I'm not sure the best way to deal with the slotted bases.

On larger models it doesn't matter because I use cork and such to make hills/rocks, but for the smaller infantry there are gaps. Is this something you guys generally just fill in with glue or is there a better approach?

I use green stuff to fill in the gaps. You can also use tape to tape over the gap. And just cover it up with flock.

Thanks Jeff! I hadn't thought about green stuff, I'll have to give that a whirl - probably holds up better than tape.

Idk much about WMH bases, but for GW slotted bases I used to trim bits of sprue and glue them into the slots (or gaps in the slots) then use green stuff (or liquid green stuff) to fill in the voids.

I've had success just making sure there was PVA glue in the slot and letting the sand or other basing material fill in the gap.
