Finished rebasing 41 Demon models from square bases to round bases. Still have another 50 or so to rebase. But ran out of homemade bases. Will have to make more ruin bases. Also painted a Blue Scribe of Tz model, used 2 oop familiars and oop disc. And finally painted an Ageis Defense Line. Which I will be using a lot for the Astra Militarum Army.

Painted additional Kasrkin/Tempestus models:

At first I didn't care much for the MIlitarum Tempestus book. But now do see a role for the Tempestus Scion Squads. I can take the Tempestus as an ally to the Astra Militarum Codex, providing Deep Striking scoring units. Or take the Tempestus Codex as the Primary Detachment and take as many deep striking scoring units that can play different roles. I have another 40 or so Kasrkins left to paint, but for now have enough to field the minimum. Need to finish off a Platoon of Elysians before anything else.

Really liking how your guard is coming together, especially the defense line. Natural colors like that rock. Making me re-think my bold in your face primary colors for guard.

Cheers,
BC

Nice job on the dark eldar models. I like the way you d painted the wracks and warriors. The highlights on the black are awesome and I like the purple on the clothing parts. Unless your client wanted the bright blue, I would suggest that the masks and the parts of the weapons be a darker tone than the bright blue. I would've left the masks black and painted those parts of the weapons a dark metallic or a dark gray to keep them in line with the dark eldar theme. The bright blue takes the theme away for the dark colors. Other than that, once again I like the models.

Thanks Allen. I had to copy the colors from a pic of the Warriors the Client provided. The other models I chose the colors, I prefer the muted earth tone colors.

Currently painting a Deathwing detachment, 10 Terminators and a Land Raider.

I put in 2-3 hours a day in assembling and painting. Now have extra time since the Blackhawks are done, and both Baseball teams aren't going anywhere this Year. I have 3 Months of good painting time before the Bears then the Bulls Season arrives. :D
