Foam Friendly Paints

Postby BostonNazgul » Sun Jan 15, 2012 12:47 pm

I have a very large terrain project that will need painting. I do not want to transport it until the day of Adepticon and my city apartment limits use of spray painting and priming.

So, does anyone have a favorite brand of paint that works well with blue foam, pink foam, wood, plastic card etc. Also available in large volume.

Wanted some advice before just buying wall paint...

also any sort of primer to pair with it.

Pink foam terrain projects? I use OOPS paint from Home Depot - $1 per quart. When painting, I mix a bit of plaster into the base coat. It helps protect the finished product and stops the pink from bleeding through the first coat. Specifically I use foam coat from Hot wire terrain factory - but I would think most plasters would work just as well. Once you get a base coat of grey (most common OOPS paint color), any hobby grade paint will cover easily.
