Postby Fallensaint » Thu Jun 16, 2011 6:38 pm

Here is my adepticon army....sort of...This is bits of my 1750 pt force out of the 2500 that I have painted. I have alot of testing to do! :D

Next up...To do another dark eldar army to match the Dark Eldar of mine that were featured in the Painting Masterclass section of the Citadel Miniatures catalog.

I cant wait to see everyones Adepticon projects and WIP's!!!! Take care and keep up the great work!

I like your blood splatter effects, how did you achieve those?

Its all about Devlin mud! :D

Brown ink and red gore...watered down a bit of course with 1 drop of black ink. when it settles the splatters will be brighter toward the top of the splatter and darker in spots the paint pools.

It was applied with my trusty flicking method using a toothbrush.
I painted 71 of the figures for this army in a little under a months time.
2 batches, and done assembly line style. I was suprised by how well Devlin mud worked.

Impressive. I love the cork bases, I just used some for my display board :)
