I was just wondering how many of us have a bunch left to do for Adepticon?

Since my fire I took it upon myself to not only get all my team tourney responsibilities done but also make another Ork army for the 1850 and the gladiator.

Been plugging away at it for the last three weeks or so here was my list..

100 boys
6 nob bikers
2 warboss bikers
bunch of lootas
deathkopptas
stompa
lifta droppa battle tank
drop pod normal
drop pod lusious
squad of marines
librarian
rhino
Dread
Team spirit stuff....shirts, banner, packer, and planning
And the team display board.

I am sure a bunch of people out there have me beat but one month to go!!! Lets get her done!!!

Do you mean for 2011 or 2012? :P

-cast about a hundred resin tokens
-cast about 15 more sets of bricks for my seminar
-paint a table's worth of terrain for Malifaux
-check to make sure my 1000 point Romans are legal for the Doubles ringer army

I must be forgetting something, that list is much too short.[/list]

You working too Alan? Or do you have a full three weeks to work?

I took every Friday off this month. I've got most of my riders done, but I've got about 35 ork bikes to paint, as well as a couple of buggies.

No Alex I am at work now more then ever stuff is crazy and people are getting laid off all around so its rough. I am on the chopping block right now so going above and beyond service here at Abbot to keep this job.

I might have to commission some of the work....Thinking about getting that lusious pattern drop pod pained professionally. Don't wanna rush that...

I want to finish all my orks myself so I have been plugging away the last three weeks and I have the army almost done but now I am motivated to get a display done for them as well but thats real optimistic.

I was one of this people that got laid off at the end of Jan. Luckily, I've just managed to get a new job back there - starting in Monday. In the meantime, besides my longer than usual honey-do list, I've been able to finish models for my army and knock out a bunch of terrain for the LOTR tournament.

I am so far behind this year it's ridiculous. Trying to keep up with my blog to encourage myself to paint more. I'm glad the wife is understanding.

Sad thing is is all the painting means no practice games.

I'll be at the bunker on Sunday if anyone is around.

Yet to do:

Orks:
Warboss
Big Mek
16 Lootas
7 Nob bikers
Mekboy STOMPA!
6 kans
1 dread
objective markers

Blood Angles:
Finishing up 3 Priests and 4 assault marines
10 Sanguinary Guard
Dante
Sanguinator
objective markers

Plus all the theme stuff.

This may be the first year I don't make a unique display board and try to reuse an old one.

Sad times!

WOW Brian I hope you took a week off for that! Last time I was over you had things going along surprised to hear you are that much behind.

I got some games in last night with the new Ork army over by Jeff's ( Nice man Cave)....everything but the bikers are finished. So I am looking great in terms of finishing this week. I am fairly sure that they will be able to get anywhere from 34-40 points depending on the judge for painting, which is respectable for the event, and for over 120 models.

Mission 4 on the Primer Missions is a tough one I will be expecting to see some draws on that game for sure. I was thinking that almost all 16 people would have 4 wins but if there are missions like that one I bet several people with 1 draw will still make it in on Sunday.

Looking forward to the big day. Its right around the corner and yet still so far away.

rock and roll

MK and Special K have our Army under control.

Nothing will beat last year 70 hour strait painting from Marcus... only to result in the inablitly to stand beyond round 2 in the team tournement. 3 or 4 5-hour energy, 4+ cups of coffee and he was in and out game 4.

This year is going to be different....

hahaha, yeah right.

yeah I say that myself every year.... "next year will be different". Always a lack of sleep and hurting during the tournament.

That's why the guys that do nothing but play do so well, they've been fine tuning an army for years.

Ah well, it's fun putting down shiny new toys!

Great stuff so far, Chris. How much is left?

I just recently finished my Malifaux crew and, once I get the base edges painted this weekend, I'll post pics.
