Hobbit Rules

I was able to download the new iPad Digital copy of the White Dwarf already. I've been skimming through it looking for tidbits...

1) The SBG have been "tweaked" with Monsters being nastier and "new" heroic actions available.
2) Rules contain the Profiles from the Hobbit
3) There are narative scenarios for the Hobbit
4) There is a "War of the Ring" section which delves into "famous battels from througout Middle Earth's History" I think this is the LOTR SBG section and not necessarily WoTR (judging by pictures)

New Heroic Actions:
Heroic March - 3" movement
Heroic Channel - something that helps spell casters
Heroic Strike - not sure, helps in combat
Heroic Accuracy - not sure, helps in shooting
Character Synergy - one models special rule effecting other models

Hand weapons now have different types of of special rules, for example, swords and knives can "feint" which means the you lose d3 fight points but if you win the fight, you can re-roll 1s to wound.

Monsters can "Hurl" models around. They can also "barge" and "rend" but I'm not sure what they do.

If you look at the GW order pages, the profiles for the models are there (no points cost). Unfortunately, the profiles for the boxed set are not. But the trolls and the others are.

reserving judgment until i can read hard copies. I see a lot of special rules for every hero. hopefully they do not turn into too much micromanaging.
