I'm doing Fiefdoms fending off a Corsairs raiding force. Fiefdoms is 4 warbands, each one lead by a living named character (IE no king of the dead) and only has warriors from their fiefdom. IIRC its Imrahil + 5 knights + 6 pikemen, Forlong and 8 Axemen (need to repair 2 axes that have snapped), Dunihir and 10 blackroot vale archers and Angbor with 6 Clansmen.

The corsairs IIRC is also 4 warbands.

That evil army looks fun to play... reminds me a bit of the Angmar army that Joe Krone used to run back in the ole circuit days.

I'll spring...

For Evil, I'm doing a Mordor army based around the Shadow Lord on Horseback (my 2010 B3 door prize) leading some Morgul Knights, a squad of Morannons, and a squad of Orc Archers led by Grishnack. I have a few points left to fill in and am trying to decide between a Mordor seige bow, a troll, or some more Morannons. Probably will depend on time and budget.

For Good, I will run a Gondor list led by Faramir on Horseback (my 2011 b3 door prize) leading a cavalry charge of Knights. Probably Cirion leading a squad warriors and maybe Madril with a squad of archers.

I have an elaborate base planned. I have this piece of scrap plywood and I am going to try to make it look like stuff.

I guess I better get going

I had planned to get my Harad and Mumak done but I'm not sure that will happen. I've been so pre-occupied with planning out a 40k army and American Civil War brigade that I just can't find the motivation to paint anything LotR at the moment. Sadly, I have good and evil forces to bring but not matching ones as I would have liked. But at least I'll be able to play and see a lot of friends which was my whole reason for coming anyways.

That's the most important reason to play.

I kinda understand the lack of motivation to paint gw stuff right now. I've been painting a hell of a lot of Flames of War as of late.
