Sounds like you've got a solid plan to fix Gimli

If you don't want to build a dwarf army, just use him as an ally for the Grey Company.

I would never disgrace my Grey Company force with Gimli. People say they are a cheater army, using Gimli would be like holding up a sign that said, "We do!".

Well, I totally disagree. However, I'd want to make sure Aragorn was in tow which makes it a very expensive army.

Boy if that ain't the pot / kettle. Disgracing GC with a single dwarf... more like taking those cheater GC's and toughening em up for COC / TKAK :P

They aren't that tough. My Dwarf Rangers could take them without Gimli.

Well. If it truely bothers you to have a Dwarf in your stuff, I could always send you my address and you can send him over to me. ;)

Gimli redone

Postby knitemare » Thu Oct 02, 2008 8:18 am

Gimli has been fixed. I haven't looked at the pictures myself, yet, so I don't know if it looks good that way. In person, though, it looks good and I'm happy enough with it to leave it alone.

I'm not sure if my hand was shaking or what, but the pictures look a little blurry. I'm done with this model.

Looks pretty good. I'm glad you were able to save him. I'm definitely more interested in the three hunters boxed set now than I was before.

I wasn't too sure about the Aragorn model, but now I think it looks pretty cool. I'm definitely more excited about this Legolas model than I have been ANY other Legolas model.
