WAB Tournament in Central Wisconsin Poll...

There never seems to be any WAB events near by [or in the US for that matter]. I am gauging interest for a 2-day | 5-game tournament for next January [in conjunction with the Waagh!paca WHFB event]

Field would be limited to 12 Entrants due to space in conjunction with Waaagh!paca. This would be in Waupaca, Wisco.

This is typically the last week in Jan each year.

Somehow I will figure a way to play in it too, so I would bring in paint judges by sharing Resources with Waaaagh!paca.

2800 AoA lists... [looking at AoA only lists, not married to it [but we are dating]]

I would like to keep this an in period event [Classical or Dark Ages], but I am not married to that, bluf, need players to come. This may well link up with the Adepticon WAB Campaign...

Please share this post and poll with other potentially interested players. If there seems to be enough interest I will move forward on planning.

Also, please post or PM any ideas related

We did already talk about this in person, but just to throw my hat out into public, I strongly favor using only AoA2, and keeping everything in one period.

I would really consider getting out there for a weekend of WAB. It is only a plane trip away.

I'd agree with the other Matt, I would be strongly in favor of an AOA2 - only tourney, preferably in period. Parents live in Waupaca, so I'd have a place to stay as well ! :D

I'd be interested. I'm going to start painting up a 2800ish point WAB AoA EIR list tomorrow. I've got all my legionaries and my praetorian guard in my C4 case.

I would also encourage an AoA v2 event, especially if we are concerned about participation. A "suggested" time period with a list of "period armies" would be all the farther I would go with the "in period" thought process though. Limiting armies to a specific time period will limit the number of folks available/willing to make the trek.

I have marked this on my calendar. If I can get work to cooperate and can make it, I'll be there!
