Flames of War Tie in/kinda historical

while you guys are all gearing up for WAB at adepticon (which I am totally bummed that I am missing) I had a side question.

Will flames of war ever move to the sea? I just had a streak of inspiration of WWII naval battles, or even full on colonialism naval warfare, fleet based though, not like legends of the high seas?

grazie,
Jeremy

I can't remember if it's happening this year but a bunch of the bunker epic guys ahve also started Victory at Sea which is WW2 naval. We're doing it at 1/6000 scale. I'm pretty sure that the group is doing a 1/2400 Trafalgar demo but I'm not sure if they're doing a VaS demo.

Not at Adepticon, AFAIK. Did you ever finish those destroyers with the ridiculously long bases, lordgoober?

are there miniature companies for 1:6000 scale WWII or do you use plastic model kits?

That's the line that our group is using for the 1/6000 ww2s. That being said, if you decide to use that scale and go American and want some Fletcher class destroyers, I have a bunch that I can let go of. I bought the Leyte Gulf US fleet pack and have painted most of it except for some destroyers (read about 48 fletchers I think)
