Kings of the Spanish Main

In the grim darkness of the past?

Kings of the Spanish Main

Thought I would get a little topic going and see who all is in the race for King of the Spanish Main...

Captain Diego de los Reyes, known as "El Mulato" has allied some black Seminoles and along with the Maroons of his crew intends to become King of the Spanish Main.

Here we have El Mulato himself [center], his first mate, a Black Seminole named Abraham on the right, and the Chief Black Seminole Scout, Raphael Jones, on the left.

thanks Merle- are you doing the LotHS game, or the LotOW one Friday?

How is your Shieldwall army coming along?

I am still debating if I have time to update my Saxon army into a Caledonian one....

Hey Aaron,

I'm still trying to sort out what I want to play in...assuming work doesn't prevent me from making the trip at all! So many cool options...and only so much time. The LotOW is full now, so I guess that makes things a little simpler. :D

I need to finish the bases on my Shieldwall force is all. I have a small Chinese crew for LotHS...but would need to add to it. Besides, I think I'd rather paint up a Pirate crew. Problem there is I've obligated myself to run a LotOW Battle of Little Big Horn game at our local con, Spring Recruits, two weeks before AC '11 and have 111 figs to get ready for that! Depending on how far I can get on the US Cav and Native Americans for that, I may try to work up a Pirate crew for LotHS...if there's still room.

SO many figs...so little time.

LOL! Well...I hadn't thought about it, but if I got everything ready for Spring Recruits in time I guess I could bring it for AC '11. It would depend on when you would want me to run it...and of course if I actually get everything finished in time. I should have a much better handle on my progress/completion in a month or so.

Right now we are planning on coming up Thrusday. Currently I'm looking at playing in the WAB Singles, one of Aaron's WWII games, possibly Aaron's LotRS game, LotHS and/or The Battle of Guilford House.

When are you thinking of the Battle of the Little Big Horn game running?

Merle
Friday mid- day would be a good time slot. Maybe 1-5.

That slot would double up with Old West and Somme 2, but would leave you open for Somme 1, High Seas and Guilford Court house.

Email me if your interested.
