2008 AdeptiCon Turn Counter and Token set

Postby Ckilleen » Tue Apr 08, 2008 10:38 am

First off those look awsome. I know that turn counter will be helpful when I play games with my brother but can't finish them, we normally just end up forgetting whos turn it was.

This being my first year to adepticon are those free with entry or do you buy them?

Baegor the One Horned is included with the ticket.

The tokens can be won as part of game play in the various tournaments.

The turn counter and the tokens (2007 & 2008) can be purchased at the registration desk.

Wow, the ticket I bought three weeks ago has suddenly increased in value! I can't believe how much stuff I'm getting.

I sound like a commercial, don't I?

wow, those turn counters are really cool and the Dwarf is AMAZING. I'm going to use that as a champion in my Hordes of Chaos army.
It's only about painting now.

Avatars of War is amazing. GW was so stupid when they let Felix get away. One of my favorite miniature sculptors.

On the turn counter:

The guy who sculpted and cast the turn counters is a friend of mine. They'll be available for sale at the registration counter along with the other adepticon merch. They're available in a VERY limited number so if you want one it's a good idea to get it on Friday!

Do you have any idea how much they might cost?

Traditionally they have been $10 I believe, not don't quote me on that. That might be for the previous year's counter.

I think they're 10 bucks again this year.

I talked to Nate (the guy who makes them) last night and he said he made 40.

That's not a typo. Forty. It is, indeed a very limited item.

I was only able to supply 20 copies of the 2007 & 2008 (team tournament, Championship) tokens to the registration desk. Although I do believe the Gladiator tokens (AWC skull and buzz saw) are more plentiful.
