Points per game?

Title says it.

I just picked up the book and was wondering what it was going to set me back in models for your average game size.

My gut tells me its in the 80ish range, but then that seemed small for Eldar.

So 90 then and figure a couple hours a game?

Nearly every game I've played is Dogfight. Generally around 60 points.

That is like 2 nightwings, 3 thunderbirds, 2 fightas and 2 fighta-bommers, etc.

If you go Eldar at 60 points you can get away with spending around $25
It's only about painting now.

I had this same question but in regards to the AI bring an Battle at A-con. I signed up for Saturday afternoon. Presently, I only have three Hell blades. I'm hoping to pick up a couple of Hell Talons Saturday morning from the forge world booth.

Honestly, I suspect that most people will be new to the game (like me) and we can probably get away with smaller games.

100-150 points is about a 2 hour game between to players who know the rules

60-100 points for dog fights they usually last for an hour
