Considering selling casts of my trenches.

Bunker. Still WIP. Not sure when it'll be ready.

Are $2 per Emplacement and $4 per Trench fair to you guys?

Nice looking stuff. Will you be leaving the floor of the trench bare or trying to texture it in some way?

How big are those pieces? $2 almost seems to be selling yourself short.

Leaving it bare. I'm not really sure how to texture it, plus people may want different textures for it. I'll leave it bare for mine, and let people add dirt floors of they want.

They're 130mm x 60mm for the trenches, and 50mm x 60mm for the emplacements.

I'd recommend putting either metal clapboard style plasticard or wooden type planks on the floors... otherwise, even at 6mm, it's going to look too empty...

If you sold a large set, I'd probably buy one.

Molding went... poorly... last night, so they may take another week or two to be ready.

I also might add floor texture to solve a slight structural issue. It would involve remaking the masters, but I'll be doing that in part anyway...

How large a set are you looking for, getupandgo? For Baran and the Mossinians, the maximum youd need would be three trenches, six emplacements, six bunkers, and some razorwire, which I may or may not get around to making bases for. Krieg would need five trenches and four bunkers max. The Cadians would max out at three trenches and six emplacements.

Here's the better cast from the mold that didn't fail.

You could use a piece of screen as texture for the floor.

I'm thinking either the diamond plate I just got, or the Evergreen #4083 "Novelty", which is a flat plate with triangular griives, good for plate metal at this scale.

Enough to fill a table with. ;) I'd end up using them for narrative games, and not so much for 3000 point tournament lists. I play straight Steel Legion for IG.

That's incentive. Taking a few days breather from hobby work in general, but I'll get something built and cast soon...

I'd be interested too in some trenches. What would you charge for a "siege masters" set?

My working prices are $3 per trench section and $1.50 per emplacement. Not sure about the bunker yet.

In a larger set I could still drop these somewhat, but on a company by company basis those are reasonable prices, taking into account cost of materials.

I'll bring the first couple of casts, which had paint slapped on last night, to the bunker this evening. Pics are alsp forthcoming.

Nat...this is some really nice stuff! Our group here in KC is getting (back) into Epic. I'll pass along to the crew and see how many we will want to purchase!

Thanks!

Yeah, Nat is our wizard with plasticard.
