Discussion concerning the latest version of the Epic 40K game system.

Don't expect to see me for a couple weeks...

Postby Lordgoober » Thu Jun 17, 2010 6:52 pm

There were some complications from the endoscopic draining of the pancreatic psuedocyst yesterday. Procedure went fine. However by the time I got to my parent's place, I vomited and was in extreme pain (11/10 on the scale) so my parents got me to the ER at Central Dupage after they called the doc who did the procedure. Once I got to the ER I had a CT scan done and there was a mild perforation around the stent so I was admitted and currently am in the ICU. The doctors here are hoping that this is just a mild Though if things go right I should be in a regular room by friday. The room number here in the icu is 3428.

That's not good...
Do I get the Understatement of the Year Award now?

Hope you feel better soon, Rob. Keep us updated, and keep a stiff upper lip.

Are you kidding? You could have watched the games from your own room with food catered and... I'm not helping, am I?

On a related note, Coach Quinville is apparently going to be bringing the Cup to a restaurant in Hinsdale called Paige's, according to the owner. There's a pic of him with Coach Q on the wall at this point (Quinville lives in Hinsdale), and he's gone to the York Tavern already with the Cup, so I'm inclined to believe it.

Well guys, I stopped in to see Robert today. He's on the mend and doing better, but trust me, a visit would be greatly appreciated. He will be out for a while. Take it easy buddy.
