Who's starting a Speze Mahreen army? Oh yeah!

That is to say, our friend in TX wants some of my 40k Orks, so I got credit for the retail price in smaller stuff. As this included a Stompa, Battlewagon, and Trukk it totaled around $200 in trade. I still need infantry from our English friend, T-Bolts and T-Hawk from FW, and some Land Speeders from GW. Just for you, Chad, I also got some more IG Armor.

Nat, if you want some of those speeders I got in that random lot at Little Wars, you're welcome to them.

Are they current? The rest of the army will be in a current style, so I'd be looking for the current offerings from GW.

Very nice stuff. I have been following the development of this game over on Warseer. Its 10mm so might work with E:A in a pinch. Sometimes I wish I was independentaly wealthy so I did not have to work. Many new games look so good.

I know, there are at least half a dozen on my to do list. I like the look of the UCM enough I'll probably get the basic army set, a Kodiak ACV, and the rules. Worth it to paint even if I can't get anyone interested enough to play.

I do love the far future wheeled vehicles - I also want to get some of the Microworld TEF when I get the chance, perhaps as AdMech for Epic.

I haven't posted any Romans here yet, have I?

Current state - One unit of Legionaries complete (barring tufts and sealing), one partial:

Command detail (rear):

I'm going to do all four units of Legionaries before moving on to Auxilia, so the next update will probably be upon completion of those four units.

yeah. I'll need to finish off my Dacians as well at some point. That being said, I reconned that Valhalla games place and we could probably end up using it as a location for some games.

Absolutely; Chad and I played a couple games there a while back - Warmaster and Epic, to be specific. Still in the "thinking about" phase of building a table or two myself, though I'm likely to move forward in the not too distant future.

For those interested, I've thrown together some of the downloadable terrain Hawk Wargames has released for DZC. It's very nice. The info page gives each lateral section a 36mm width, and floor heights of 17mm for residential and 21mm for commercial. I've added some 6mm Romans and assorted Space Marine vehicles for scale.

Notes: As a damnyank, I dislike the decision to have all the 3x2 buildings printable on A3. The A4 are mostly okay, though in places they go off the edge of 8.5" x 11", but the A3? Not a chance. However, the A3 does fit on Letter sized paper at 66% scaling (that is to say, 1/300 instead of 1/200). Not had a chance to build one in that scale yet. The sheets of Air-conditioning are great - fiddly to assemble, but they really add to the buildings.

When will my minis ship? :'(
