Discussion concerning the latest version of the Epic 40K game system.

I like the idea of the light clothing with heavy highlights.

That being said, that Canadian Maple Leaf schtick would be amusing.

Two pieces of good news.

First, I remembered about some old bits:

Image

Old 2nd Ed (?) Pistols and CCWs. Some good stuff, including Laspistols, autopistols, and hand flamers.

Second, I received a package from EW today:

Image

The new Royal Empire Heavy Wapons Platoons. At last there is an alternative to the E40k plastic autocannon and the current sandbagged Heavy Weapons teams. And at just under 3GBP, the price is right, too!

Close up of the heavies, a tad blurred:

Oh yeah, is there a consensus that the Skyshield should be 'stock' for the Necro Terrain, or should it be part of another build.

Chad, the Vultures have prominent lamps on the front of the lift fans, I'll make sure to pick them out to facilitate identification. Would that be enough to make them distinguishable from the Valks?

Yeah that's good. Just so long as it's obvious.

Fresh of the assembly lines at the forgeworld of Enhydra is the prototype Armageddon-pattern Griffon.

Now to do 11 more.

Red/Green Infantry Company

Black/Red Recon Troop. Two bases need Clump foliage still, but first they need Varnish.

The second 500 point block.

Blue/Red Support Squadron. No basing yet.

I'll probaly end up doing some A/C next, then go back to the Infantry.

Paint big targets on them big enough so that even an ork could hit them!

So you want me to paint barn doors on their bellies?

Based on feedback, I've reworked the canopies.

I dont think even that would help you Chad.

They do look very good Nat. Liked either canopy, although the second ones seem a bit darker and more useful as sun screen for the pilots. Keep it up.

I've created a thing for a thing. I've yet to create a thing for the things that go on this thing.

Off topic, so I'll keep it brief.

The second edition of VaS has been confirmed for 2012.

Interesting, bringing it more in line with ACTA:NA. to bad they have pissed me off with the release of ACTA:SFB. Preordered that book in October. still dont have it as most of the people in the USA. Will wait to see it hit GP before I get it. Definatly looks good though.
