Ok, a broken ankle sucks.....

Yeah, I broke it. The reason I'm posting is not that. The Next tpime we meet will be Dec 17. With the holidays is that okay with everyone? Otherwise we are looking at new years Eve. What's everyone's thoughts?

Yeouch Chad, that bites. I'm good for either day. BTW, when I was up at G+ for Battletech on Saturday, there was a copy of Trafalgar there so I called Dave and he now has a copy of the book like you and I. Eventually we're going to have to take a stab at playing a couple games.

Sorry to hear the bad news Chad!

I've been following your Epic threads and I'm glad to see you've been able to energize the community. I hope this injury doesn't set you back too much. Get back on your "feet" again soon!

Thanks Brent. I believe the same could be done for LOTR. We have a great group of players, fanatical about Epic. I want to keep things going because it's what we deserve finally as a community. Epic is a great game, and we want our piece of the pie too!

I believe I will be there on the 17th. Not sure about Dec 31st though.

Okay, surgery is required! I guess I really messed up my leg. I broke the bone behind the Achilles tendon, tore the ligaments in the ankle, and broke the smaller bone below the knee. They will put in some screws and I will have a walking cast.

Consequently, I will not be there on the 17th, but the 31st is possible. And anytime after that.

In pure Daffy Duck style,<whimper>mother</whimper>

In all seriousness, that really sucks chad, and just in time for Christmas. We'll have to do something real nice for you the next time we see you.
