Conflicting rules

What do you do when Necrons use mind shackle scarabs - leadership test on 3D6 added together - on a DA character with Courage of the Lion in play - leadership test on 3D6 take the lowest. 1. Roll 2D6 and live with it? 2. Roll 3D6 and take the highest? or 3. Use DA rules during the DA turn and Necron rules during the Necron turn? Other Ideas?

4D6, drop the highest.
